As a child, I had always loved Sunday School.  Yet when it was time for my daughter to move from the Children’s Room into her first Sunday School class, I was apprehensive.  I thought, “She can barely talk.  How is she going to learn about God?”  I really did not expect her to be able to sit for a whole hour and discuss metaphysical issues! … I thought she needed clever songs and furry Muppets to make learning “fun”.

As I thought about it, I realized that God was more important than anything else she could know, and why should I delay her spiritual and most important education?  I went ahead and enrolled her in Sunday School.

She’s been in Sunday School for a year and a half now, and I am happy, impressed, and comforted by all she has learned.
