“It’s not fair!” said one of the girls at my table in the cafeteria as I pulled out the Hostess cupcake my mother had packed in my lunch bag. “You get to eat whatever you want and stay so skinny.” She grimaced at her bag of rice cakes and turned toward me with a face that conveyed deep resentment.

After hearing such comments repeatedly in middle school, I began to be concerned about my weight and body image in a way I never had been before.  Read more …

  5. You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find
this matter to be actually something that I think I would never understand.

It seems too complicated and very broad for me. I’m looking forward
for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of it!

    • To ‘the secret’, yes, when you really ‘get’ it, it does seem easy. It feels as though there never was a problem; it’s a wonderful place to be! You get there by looking away from the problem and into the spiritual truth of being. This is something we are all working on in our own way – understanding truth of who we are. Anything that focusses you on the problem is leading you away from Truth. This is why gratitude is a good antidote to problems because it turns us to the good that is. Stay in touch – much love, Deb.

  6. It’s appropriate time to make some plans for the future and it is time
to be happy. I’ve read this post and if I could I desire to suggest you some interesting things or
tips. Maybe you could write next articles referring to this article.
I want to read even more things about it!

  7. It’s all about real food, simple recipes, grocery lists and effective workouts.

Having a spoonful of honey before bedtime facilitates weight reduction because
it quickens the fat burning metabolism of the body while
making stress hormones become at ease. Here’s
another question, would you order the same food you order in the drive-thru that you would
order if you had to park and walking into the restaurant,
    order in person.

    • I agree having balance in our lives is important; balance in our diet, our activity, our work/leisure time, but it is too simplistic to say that this is all there is to it. It is how you think about these things, and every aspect of life, that determines our satisfaction. There is more to a person than their body and the whole person needs to be nourished.

  8. Remarkable! Its truly amazing piece of writing, I
have got much clear idea on the topic of from this

  9. Hello, constantly i used to check blog posts here in the early hours in the daylight, as i like to find out more and more.
